Again, after katrina, when i was finally back in the studio, this piece demanded i make her. since we have so many rescued cats, we stayed in our home during the storm and the TREES were life savers on so many levels. They absorbed water, they were a safe haven for folks to climb, they shielded our homes from immense winds and they are HOME to many creatures and LIFE on the planet. anyway, this was in the OHR musuem. i am making a two more similar pieces that will soon be availble if they survive the firings!
